Thai AirAsia X launched its inaugural scheduled service from Bangkok Don Mueang Int'l Airport to Seoul Incheon on 17-Jun-2014. Thai AirAsia X operates to destinations between four and nine hours flying time from its hub, while sister carrier, Thai AirAsia flies to destinations within four hours.
Thai AirAsia X commenced preparations to initiate a rehabilitation process after its submission was accepted by the Thai Central Bankruptcy Court on 18-May-2022. The process will have no impact on passengers as operations will continue as usual.
